For the past decade, Mauricio Abreu has been the athlete in kiteboarding with the longest continuous sponsorship as a pro rider. After a successful 9 years riding with Wipika and assisting with their product development, Liquid Force was stoked to bring the superstar into the LF Family.

One of the original early pioneers in kiteboarding along with the OG Maui crew of Elliot Leboe, Lou Wainman, Chris Gilbert, Fadi Issa and others.. Muaricio has always been a consumate professional in his riding and work within the kiteboarding industry..

From being one of the first kiters to have a pro model board, to the first 2 line handle passes and then leading the strapless revolution on both surfboard and wakeskate.. to being a leader of style on sliders and kickers.. Mauricio has been there, done that.. and is as excited as ever to take the next step and do it even better!!

With all of this, it is no surprise that when news got out about Maurico signing with Liquid Force and working with LF R and D and legendary shapers Pat Rawson for surfboards and Jimmy Redmond for wakeboards, that the world took notice.
